Privacy statement

FlexxWatt B.V. (trading as FlexxWatt, “we”, “us” or “FlexxWatt”) attaches great importance to careful handling of your personal data. This privacy statement explains which data we collect, what we use it for and which rights you have.

Who is responsible for the processing?

FlexxWatt B.V., Dirk Verheulweg 2-C4, 2742 JR Waddinxveen, the Netherlands, is the controller for the processing described here. The registered address is also the correspondence address. Which personal data do we process?

• Contact details you enter yourself, for example in an advice request or an email (name, email address, telephone number).
• Data you enter in the battery calculator, such as consumption and energy costs. This is processed in your browser for the calculation; it is only sent to us when you submit an advice request.
• Registration data of installation companies: company name, legal form, business registration number, VAT number, business address, contact details, company profile and the supporting documents you upload.
• Account data: email address, verification status, the status of your application and log entries about account and status changes for security and accountability purposes.
• Technical data about your visit, such as pages used and device type, insofar as this is processed by our hosting and security systems.

Why do we process this data, and on what basis?

• To handle your advice request or contact request and to get in touch with you.
• To assess an application from an installation company and, after approval, to provide access to the installer portal.
• To create and verify accounts, including verification of your email address.
• For the business operations necessary around your request, such as administration, security and resolving technical problems.

We do not use this data for any other purpose. This statement does not set out a separate legal basis for each purpose.

Website statistics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-443GTH7K8R) to understand how the website is used and to improve it. Purpose: statistics and improvement of the website. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act). Recipient: Google Ireland Limited.

The Analytics tag is loaded only after you consent to statistical cookies. Without consent no requests are sent to Google Analytics. We use Google Consent Mode v2; analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are set to denied by default. Advertising cookies are requested separately and are off by default.

We measure page views and non-identifiable interactions, such as form actions, use of the savings calculator, product views, cart actions and clicks on phone or email links. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses or company names to Google Analytics. IP anonymisation is enabled.

Retention: the Analytics cookies expire after up to 24 months; data in Google Analytics is kept according to the configured retention of up to 14 months. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser under fw-cookie-consent-v1.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time through "Change cookie preferences" at the bottom of every page or in the cookie statement. If you decline, the website keeps working in full.

We do not use advertising or marketing tracking unless you give separate consent for it.

We currently do not send a newsletter or marketing emails, and we do not use your data to send you unsolicited offers. If FlexxWatt starts doing so in the future, this privacy statement and the consent mechanism will be updated first.

Uploads and company documents

Documents you upload as part of an installer application are stored in private storage and are accessible only to you and to authorised FlexxWatt administrators. They are used solely to assess your application.

Recipients and processors

We do not share your data with third parties unless this is necessary for the performance of an agreement (for example an installation partner), we are legally obliged to do so, or you have given your consent.

• Supabase — the platform we use for the database, accounts, authentication and file storage of this website.
• Email service — used to send verification, confirmation and status messages relating to your request or application.

We do not create a Shopify customer account when you register, and registration data is not passed on to Shopify. Product information shown on this website may be retrieved from Shopify; this does not involve your personal data.

Registration and webshop access

Registering as an installation company does not automatically give access to the webshop, to pricing or to documentation. Every application is reviewed manually.

International transfers

We have not established a transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area for the processing described here. We make no independent statement about the storage locations of our suppliers.

Retention

We do not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as we are legally required to. Specific retention periods per category have not yet been established and are therefore not stated here.

Security

Access to accounts is protected by authentication, access rules per role and private storage of uploaded documents. Prices, orders and documents in the installer portal are available only to approved installation partners.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to the processing of your data. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time; this does not affect processing that has already taken place. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In the Netherlands this is the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

External network requests and technical data

To display this website, files and data are retrieved from a limited number of external services: Google Fonts (fonts, on every page), the Shopify storefront API and Shopify CDN (product data and product images, only on the restricted webshop and product pages for signed-in, approved installers) and Supabase (our own backend for accounts, forms and content). With such a request it is technically unavoidable that the service receives data such as your IP address, browser type and information about the request. These services place no cookies or browser storage, and we do not use them for analytics, profiling or marketing. The Google Analytics 4 statistics are described separately above and are loaded only after your consent.

Cookies and browser storage

This website places no cookies without your consent. After consent to statistics the Google Analytics cookies are placed. For the full overview of cookies, browser storage and external requests, see our cookie statement.

Changes to this statement

If our processing changes, we will update this statement. The date above shows when the text was last updated.
