From solar energy to smart use in the home

Solar panels generate, the home consumes, the surplus goes to the battery and smart control decides when you store, use or charge.

3. StorageThe surplus goes to the home battery instead of straight to the grid.
4. Use laterIn the evening and at night the battery supplies energy to the home.

Where does your solar power go?

Solar panels generate; the home first uses what it needs directly. The surplus can go to the battery and the charging point, and only after that to the grid.

Not enough sun? The battery then supplies energy back to the home and the charging point; the grid supplements what is needed.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need solar panels for a home battery?

Not necessarily, but a battery usually has the greatest effect when there is on-site generation that would otherwise be exported. Storage can also be relevant without panels if you have a dynamic energy contract.

How much will I save?

That depends on your consumption, generation, tariffs and behaviour. Our calculator gives an indication based on your own input; we do not promise guaranteed savings or payback periods.

Which capacity suits me?

The right capacity follows from your annual consumption, the share used in the evening and at night, and your export volume. The calculator works this out indicatively.

Who installs the system?

Installation is carried out by a certified installation partner. FlexxWatt handles system selection, supply and technical support.
